I’m Kerry: a college senior making it day by day and finding new ways to make the most out of every new day. I study physics, and have a love of writing, fiber arts, and planning (the usefulness of it, and the memory keeping of it). I have a psychiatric service dog named Althaia who performs seemingly never ending tasks for me when I’m out in appointments or attending classes. She keeps me able to be in certain situations without problematic medications.
Living with bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and eating disorder recovery I use a lot of coping mechanisms to try and live my life without limitations from my mental illness. For me, a big part of that is advocacy for mental health awareness and making sure that other people know that they aren’t alone in their struggles. Here, I hope you find tools to help you, words to comfort you, and stories to make you think.
